In this case, it is is black tourmaline, combined with clear-to-white quartz These points or are split into two height categories and have been cut by man/machine (not by me). The shorter points measure approximately 2 1/4 - 2 3/4" x 15/16 - 1" x 3/4 - 7/8" and the taller points measure approximately 2 7/8 - 3 5/8" x 7/8 - 1 1/8" x 3/4 - 1".
